Materials
- Glass Container: select a clear glass container with a lid or open top (for succulent type of plants). This could be a fish tank, a glass jar, or even a vase.
- Gravel or Pebbles: create a drainage layer at the bottom of your container to prevent overwatering.
- Activated Charcoal: place a thin layer of activated charcoal on top of the gravel to keep the terrarium fresh by absorbing impurities and bad odors.
- Potting Soil: use a well-draining potting mix suitable for the plants you choose.
- Plants: select small plants that thrive in the same conditions (e.g., fittonia, ferns, syngonium, succulents and many more ). Ensure that they are compatible in terms of light and moisture requirements.
- Moss or Decorative Stones: add a touch of aesthetics with moss or stones.
- Tools: small shovel, spoon, or chopsticks for planting and arranging.
